Quiet, polished Arlberg villages with deep snow and direct access to the whole of Ski Arlberg.
Lech and Zürs are the calm, refined side of the Arlberg. The villages are small and the service is discreet. Oberlech, above Lech, is car-free in winter, which makes it a natural choice for families and for guests who value space and quiet over nightlife.
Lech and Zürs are part of Ski Arlberg, billed as Austria's largest connected ski area, with about 300 km of pistes, 85 lifts and around 200 km of marked off-piste routes. The Flexenbahn gondola links Zürs with St. Anton, so the whole Arlberg is skiable on one pass.
The signature day is the White Ring, a 22 km circuit through Lech, Zürs, Zug and Oberlech that brings you back to where you started. We recommend skiing it with a guide who knows which section to take at which hour.
Lech Zürs is the only place in Austria where heli-skiing is permitted. Flights land on the Mehlsack (2,652 m) or the Schneetäli (2,450 m), always with a certified mountain guide and only in good weather. Places are confirmed at short notice; our concierge can register your interest in advance.
Horse-drawn sleigh rides through Oberlech, cross-country tracks towards Zug and a floodlit toboggan run are good counterweights to a hard day on skis. In summer, Lech is a walking and golf destination with cooler air than the valleys below.
Innsbruck airport is about 1 hour 30 minutes by car and Zurich about 2 hours 30 minutes. The nearest railway station is Langen am Arlberg. We arrange private transfers from all three.
We do not have a chalet in this resort at the moment. These are chalets we do offer elsewhere in Austria. See all chalets · Contact

View & BookYes. Since 2016 the Flexenbahn links Zürs and St. Anton, so one Ski Arlberg pass covers about 300 km of pistes.
Yes, but only in Lech Zürs, with a certified guide and in suitable weather.
A 22 km ski circuit through Lech, Zürs, Zug and Oberlech that returns to its starting point. It suits confident intermediates and above.
Yes. Wide, well-groomed pistes and car-free Oberlech make it one of the most family-friendly Arlberg resorts.
